There was that one hidden level with low gravity, it was one of my favorites. You had to keep leaping up and pounding the shambler on top of the structure.
Back then I was a dialup ISP I used to host network games of Quake 1 with my customers. At the peak though we found the Xylogics Remote Annex couldn’t handle it, and it rebooted mid game.
I had no idea how to do any of that, so I was always just a solo player. In the very rare occasions that I somehow fell into a multi-player battle in some FPS game, I would end up cowering in a corner like a rabbit, trying to figure out what to do.
Used to love going to the console in quake 1 and setting gravity to 1. Each jump and you could hit the roof.

Never found that one.

I’m a monster on my own though.
